Rank and suit
Rank is a card's value label; suit is its club, diamond, heart or spade symbol. Matching rank and matching suit describe different patterns.
Trail, sequence and colour
A trail has three matching ranks. A sequence uses consecutive ranks under the stated Ace convention. Colour is a common term for three cards of the same suit; our chart separates a pure sequence from a non-sequential colour.
Blind and seen
These are information labels in a round. Read the table instructions for the actions and limits associated with each. They do not change three unrelated cards into a pair or trail.
Show and side show
These refer to comparison procedures, not hand patterns. Eligibility, consent and resolution should be read in the actual table rules rather than inferred from the words alone.
Rummy and Poker
A product title can combine several labels. It does not mean that a Rummy combination chart and a Teen Patti ranking chart are interchangeable. Identify the actual game before applying a rule.
