Confirm which app is installed
Record its exact name and current version in the device’s application information. Match the publisher identity to the verified update destination. Similar artwork is not enough to establish that two files belong together.
Understand account access first
Use the app’s own documented process to confirm how your existing account is accessed. Do not share login codes with this website or assume that uninstalling will preserve local data. If the recovery process is unclear, ask the actual operator before removing anything.
Note what you expect to change
A publisher’s current release notes may explain compatibility or feature changes. Keep a short note of your present version and the issue you hope to resolve, rather than assuming every update fixes it.
After the update
Record the resulting version and any exact error. A concise before-and-after note is more useful to support than a claim that everything is broken. The help centre keeps related checklists together.
