Start with visible information
Write all three ranks and suits. Check for repeated physical cards before identifying any category. A duplicated symbol on screen does not create an extra copy in a one-deck example.
Say why the category fits
Look for three equal ranks, consecutive positions, a common suit or a pair. The ranking chart puts those observations into categories. Keep the reason next to the category name.
Stop at the boundary
Recognising a category does not reveal an opponent’s cards, establish a legal show or guarantee a result. If your question concerns procedure, use the actual profile instead of extending a hand explanation into a prediction.
Revisit one mistake
Pick a single example that confused you and change one card. Write how the pattern changed. This is a concrete learning activity, not a promised winning trick.
