Begin with the physical cards
Our classifier accepts a standard deck without Jokers. A variant that introduces a printed Joker or designated wild card changes what a hand can represent. The standard result is not a full answer to that new task.
Write the substitution rule
Record which cards are wild and how they may be used. Show both the physical cards and any proposed replacement in a worked example. Do not silently substitute a card and label the displayed hand unchanged.
Check the rest of the profile
A variant may also use a different category comparison or procedure. Keep those rules with the Joker explanation so another reader can reproduce the result.
Respect the tool’s scope
The classifier does not accept Joker tokens. Use it for standard category recognition only. A useful variation guide must give its own complete rule profile instead of relying on a familiar name.
